- The steel industry is one of the sectors where hydraulics has been able to show its advantage in comparison to other drive systems for decades. The highly compressed power and the resulting forces are crucial to some applications. Whether it is smelting, refining or finishing the product, without the power inherent to hydraulics most products would not be produced at all. In each of these fields hydraulic units are exposed to extreme conditions. High levels of pollution, high temperatures and extreme working environments as well as applications working around the clock are but a few of the requirements we have for our products. At the same time no other industry is subject to a faster pace concerning the finer details.

- In the water and sewage industry high pressure hydraulics is often used to operate large valves and hydraulic shutters requiring a high degree of driving force and safety. This poses special requirements for the hydraulic components used. Biodegradable material demands special care with regards to sealing agents. For these components a high degree of leakage safety is required to meet regulations for water pollution controls. Working with sewage our products are often exposed to aggressive matters necessitating a special anti-corrosion coating treatment. Moreover explosive gases may occur in these areas so special care has to be taken to avoid sparking ignition.To get a definite switching status we rely on a variety of sensory options. Proximity switches (partly in ATEX), stoke measuring systems or internal terminal position recognition are employed upon customer request.
